An Arsenal XI of their most injured players in the 21st century has been revealed.

All but one player on the list have spent more than a year on the sidelines in what has been an injury hit period for the club.

There are no prizes for guessing who the most injured player in that time was: Abou Diaby.

The Frenchman spent an incredible 2,156 days away from the pitch with injury problems, which totals at just under six years on the treatment table.

Diaby spent roughly two-thirds of his nine-year Gunners career on the sidelines.

Of the injured XI, four players feature who are in the current squad: Theo Walcott, Kieran Gibbs, Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky.

This shows that Arsenal’s injury problems are by no means over and with Danny Welbeck seemingly continually crocked, they could soon add another to the list.
