Heart of Gold!! Grandmother Who Agrees To Be Surrogate For Her Daughter Gives Birth To Her Grandson (See Photos)

Alice Hohenhaus , 25, was diagnosed with leukaemia when she was four and relapsed at age nine. The radiation left her with scarring and complications with her uterus meant she couldn't have a baby. Her mother, Theresa Hohenhaus, 46, offered to be a surrogate and gave birth to her grandson in June. She said she would do anything for her four children and it was worth it to see her daughter happy.

'Alice already had the embryos and I thought "why not? I thought I was too old and Alice didn't want me to do it at first but I had already almost lost Alice twice before - she haemorrhaged during her pregnancy and it was touch and go there for a while. Making her happy and seeing her happy now is worth it", Theresa, 46, told Daily Mail Australia.
