Manchester United may splash the cash but they have still not totally abandoned their youth policy.
Red Devils youth graduates have made more Premier League debuts than any other club since 2010-11.
A total of 14 academy graduates have gone on to feature for a Premier League first team in that time.
That’s two more than Watford in second place while Aston Villa and Southampton have both produced 11.
United have produced more than twice as many Premier League first team players than title rivals Manchester City and Chelsea who have both produced six.
