Owner was next door and only knew after Bance was caught on camera
The footage was taken by CBC-TV's Marketplace and filmed back in 2012
A Conservative candidate running in the Canadian elections has been left embarrassed after footage emerged of him urinating into a coffee cup.
Jerry Bance was working as an appliance repairman when he was secretly videoed carrying out the revolting act back in 2012.
Mr Bance has said he 'deeply regrets' what he did and insists it did not reflect who he really is.
The video shows how Bance, who has previously run for the party in 2006 and 2008, reaches into the sink and selects a white china mug
The Conservative candidate has been running for Prime Minister Stephen Harper's party in a Toronto district.

The embarrassing footage, filmed by CBC, has emerged just as the elections are set to be held next month on 19 October.
Whilst attempting to fix a kitchen appliance, Mr Bance decides he needs to go to the toilet. Rather than asking to use the bathroom, he decides to take matters into his own hands.
The video shows how Bance, who has previously run for the party in 2006 and 2008, reaches into the sink and selects a white china mug.
After urinating in the mug, he tips the contents down the drain before giving the container a quick rinse with the tap.
Leaving the mug in the sink, the repairman returns to working on the kitchen appliance.
'I take great pride in my work and the footage from that day does not reflect who I am as a professional or a person,' Mr Bance said in a party statement.
The timing of the footage further worsens the image of Harper's government with the country entering recession this week and continued questions over the government's policy towards helping refugees.
Public outcries over the refugee crisis in Europe has led to further calls for Canada to do more to help those who have escaped war-torn countries like Syria and Iraq.
