Letter to INEC chairman/inconclusive man - By Terfa Lord Jirgba

INEC

Mr INEC chairman sir permit me to begin this letter without the requisite official protocol due to your high office owing to the urgency of its thrust . I may wish to remind you that Nigeria has 36 state including FCT. Bayelsa and Kogi are listed as the smallest states both in terms of voting population, administration and peaceful conduct of electorates during election. Sir the biggest states we have in Nigeria are Kano and lagos with a voting strengths of over 12 million people with over one hundred local government areas including municipal areas, stretching a wide geography of over a millions squire meters mostly dominated by strangers and Agberos of no fixed addresses. Hmmmmmmmm.

Mr inconclusive! Nigerians are violence people, like for example there two controversial local governments in my state, which are Kwande & Gwer-East, these local governments are always named as a case study whenever a project supervisor in the department of political science at Benue state University wants you to research on political violence or crises in the state. These local governments are known for political violence but election has always been held and concluded in these duo. This is a fact u must take note.

Sir your level of incompetence displayed in the just concluded two governorship elections by waiting for a slightest opportunity to announced an election to be inconclusive, wch in actual sence concluded is a bad signal which promptly without hesitation call for your resignation

Sir u don’t just declared an election to be inconclusive just because u got feelers of manipulation in some certain units. And don’t be curious to hold such opinion of inconclusiveness of an election. For example the Kogi election you haphazardly declared to be inconclusive was in a real sense of it concluded and won by Audu/Faleke ticked and not by your Muslim brother yahaya as the oga at the top persuaded on you to do. The actual legible votes left in the 91 pulling units were 38000 and not 45000 as shown by the pvc collection data register of Kogi state. If u would have wait a litle while and conducted yourself within those facts, this would have saved the cost of the purported re-run election and the legal flood gate u have created because of your incompetence. U have succeeded in dividing the ruling APC Kogi chapter in two hostile camps.

Assuming you were the INEC chairman when 2015 general election was held, when Orubebe stood up at the collation centre and refused to listen to any body what would you have done? You would have not only adjudged the election to be inconclusive but a damaged election right?

2019 general election is at the corner and is going to be the biggest elections ever in the history of Nigeria. The two northern sons (owners of boko haram) are going to be featured as same will be flying their party’s Presidential ticked, that will be possibly people of the same religion, faith and tribe. HAUSA/FULANI. So it must be a person who is willing and committed to service, and not this your type of inconclusive of a man.
