As current La Liga champions, Copa del Rey holders and Champions League winners,Luis Enrique's men are by far and away the most successful team in the world at the moment. They're dominating Spain's top flight right now, scoring a ridiculous amount of goals in the process.
Still, believe it or not, no Barca player has ever won La Liga's 'Player of the Month' award. Until today.
Manuel Queimadelos Alonso"What do you mean I'm the first Barca player to win it?!"
We were all amazed last month when we realised that not a single Barcelona star (Lionel Messi included) had ever been given the individual accolade. Though the award was only introduced in September 2013, it's still shocking that the Nou Camp's footballing demi-gods were overlooked for just over two years.
Today, finally, Neymar has managed to wrest the 'Player of the Month' title from the grudging grasp of the awarding panel - a winner for Barca at only the 21st opportunity. Even the harshest judges on the planet couldn't deny him after five goals in three games.
