Man discovers there is something very unnerving about a field of silent kangaroos

First there was the news that a kangaroo with ‘intimidatingly’ large pecs was stalking a town in Australia. And now this.

This video shows footage captured by a lone cyclist travelling through Hawkstowe Park, 23km from Melbourne, and it’s pretty unnerving.

Cyclist Ben Vezina is heard whispering ‘I’m going to be honest, I’m a little bit terrified,’ as he cycles throught the park, full of silent, motionless kangaroos, at dusk.

As he moves through the watchful group, several start to move, appearing to regroup further down the path.



Of course, eastern grey kangaroos are not considered dangerous to humans – unless provoked.

And, we’re pretty sure Ben made it out unharmed.
