Football: 4 matches you must not miss this weekend

Following a two-week lull of the international week, that threw up friendly matches, Euro 2016 play-offs and 2018 World Cup qualifiers, the European Leagues are back.

From the Premier League to Serie A, to the La Liga, it’s back to business and there will be key games this weekend.

Manchester City vs Liverpool

Last week, Jurgen Klopp experienced his first defeat in charge of Liverpool. Alan Pardew’s men came to Anfield and claimed all three points. On Saturday, Klopp will be plotting how to overcome Manchester City, who are currently top of the Premier League.

Real Madrid vs Barcelona
The first El Clasico of the season comes to town this weekend. As usual, it promises to be a spicy and spiky affair. Lionel Messi is back in full training for Barcelona and you expect him to feature even for a few minutes, while Ronaldo has not been in great form recently.

Juventus vs AC Milan

In years past, this fixture used to be a top-of-the-table clash. But these days, it is a meeting of two teams desperate to climb up the log. Juve go into this game having won their last two Serie A matches, while Milan failed to score the last time against Atalanta.

Schalke 04 vs Bayern Munich
Schalke o4 have not been in great form recently. The last time out in Bundesliga, they were defeated in the Revierderby against local rivals, Borussia Dortmund. Bayern on the other hand, are absolutely flying and will be seeking to continue their procession towards another title.
