The Queen will today become Britain’s longest serving monarch after surpassing Queen Victoria with a reign of more than 63 years and 216 days.
But while we’re all too acquainted with the image of Lizzie being the head of state of Britain and the Commonwealth countries, there’s a whole lot more to our monarch that you probably aren’t aware of.

Detailing her antics in her diary, the 18-year-old royal wrote: ‘Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Pall Mall, walked simply miles. Saw parents on balcony at 12.30am – ate, partied, bed 3am!’
