Say what you like about Simon Cowell (we have - often) he is a very clean man.
The X Factor mogul has reportedly spent £2000 just to have a bath.
That’s right - one bath.
Apparently clean bean Simon was so upset when the boiler broke in his house that he booked into London’s swanky Mandarin Oriental hotel simply so he could have a bath.
It’s said that Simon didn’t even lay his head down in the suite as once he heard his boiler had been fixed he went home.
"Simon loves baths and they’re central to his daily routine."
“He’ll admit booking a suite in a flash hotel just to use their bath is slightly excessive, but when you’re as rich as Simon it’s not quite as big a deal,” a squeaky clean source told The Sun.
Simon has spoken before about loving that clean feeling saying that he has up to three baths a day.
Who doesn’t love a nice bath, though?
And booking into a hotel is probably better than have a swimming pool wash.
A bit less verrucca -y.
