Kate Middleton paid tribute to British veterans and fallen troops, as well as to a late, favorite designer, as she attended the annual Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cenotaph on Whitehall in London.

The 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge sported a chic look, as always, wearing a black double-breasted patchwork felt and velvet coat by Alexander Mcqueen, paired with a black felt hat with a butterfly and a small mesh birdcage veil. McQueen, one of the most popular designers among celebs, died in 2010. His luxury fashion house's creative director had designed Kate's famous 2011 wedding dress.

At the remembrance service, the duchess was joined by several royals, includingQueen Máxima of the Netherlands, the British prime minister and other politicians.

Husband Prince William, 33, and Prince Harry, 31, who both served in the British military, laid wreaths at the memorial, as did grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, 89. All wore red poppies to honor veterans and their fallen comrades. Kate wore three.
