A man who rented a £220,000 Ferrari for a wedding wrote it off when he crashed into a house and ended up wedged under a taxi.
The driver had apparently rented the 458 Italia for a family member’s marriage but he slammed into a terraced house in Luton, Bedfordshire on Sunday night.
Nobody was injured in the crash, but the supercar was totally written off with only 4,600 miles on the clock.

‘They have done a really good job of crashing it and writing it off. It took three minutes for the insurance assessors to write it off,’ he said.
“I just wish people had more respect for super cars. People need to realise that they are not invincible.’

A 29-year-old man had hired the vehicle from the depot in Shoreham-by-Sea in West Sussex on Thursday, Jamie said.
The driver had paid a £5,000 deposit plus £850 a day for the car.
We can deal with scratches and little dents, but this is absolutely gutting,’ Jamie said.
