SOS: Ogun State Government Needs To See This


Late Mrs Adelaja's Promotion letter in 2001

Mrs Adelaja Mojisola Rebecca from Iperu in Ogun State died in 2004, 3 years after her promotion by the State's Primary Education Board and the family she left behind, most importantly her only daughter, have been fighting to get her gratuity paid by the government to no avail.

The government agents requestested for her death certificate to process her gratuity, it is over 11 years and over N100,000 spent, Nothing has been paid by the government. 

Newspapers mentions were made; Her death was even gazetted by the government but nothing has been heard from the education ministry Ogun State.

Late Mrs Adelaja is survived by a daughter in her mid twenties in the tertiary institution in Nigeria who needs this money to survive. Her education and wellbeing. 

Apart from that, this woman died in service of the state. Rendered the most priceless impact on the kids that passed through her teaching.

Mrs Adelaja last taught in 'Saint John's catholic primary school, Eri road, Iperu Remo'. Mrs Badekale was the headteacher then and she was the Assistant.

This should be passed on to the government as an SOS. Eleven years is long enough to get one's parent's gratuity, doesn't it.
