The images currently circulating on the social media are of the #BringBackOurGirls campaigners sitting on the floor while the police formed a barricade as a sign of prevention of passage into the Aso Rock Villa. This is the second time in one week that the Oby Ezekwesili's led #BBOG group would be stopped by the security operatives from seeing the President.
On 22nd of August, a combined team of policemen and men of the Department of State Services halted a peaceful procession of the group at the Independence Avenue, Abuja.
In a protest that mocked the government of trying to silence the group, the former education minister and other members of the group had their mouths sealed with duck tape and the police standing guard.
