Nigerians crossed into the New Year in various ways. Some spend the last hours of 2015 worshiping God, others were at shows getting entertained and experiencing the thrill of fireworks.
Another group of people did brisk business, while some slept through it all. For a particular group, the night was spent at hospitals to welcome the latest set of Nigerians.
From Abuja to Lagos, the first babies of the year are being recognised and honoured.
