*admits PDP mistakes cost it presidency
The Chairman of the People's Democratic Party's National Conference organising committee, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has said that the situation in the country clearly shows that a mere change of government is not what the people want but a chance to participate more actively in governance.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday in Abuja on the expectations from the PDP reform conference scheduled for Thursday, Dokpesi expressed hope that the meeting will proffer solutions that will allow the party move forward in pursuit of a return of the Party to the helm of affairs at all levels of governance across the country.
" It has become glaringly obvious that the current change is no longer enough for the next generation, what they really want is a chance," he said.
Dokpesi, who is leading a 53-member committee, recalled that the first fundamental mistake made by the party was the breach of the power shift pact in 2011.
