HOPE 2016: ODOGBOLU PHASES OF A NEW DAWN.

In these tough and stormy times, there have been challenges of leadership for good governance in Nigeria. For a while, it has been chaotic quantifying and articulating the real value of desirable and pleasing leadership.
Many of the theoretical enlightened would hardly consider that being a leader is a choice – and that in a nation of democracy, it is the people that can decide how to make the preferred leadership manifest.
Many believe since they are advanced in age, then they are the best to lead.
It is only those in spiritual realms that could know that older age do not essentially make one superlative in leadership.
Leading indeed is that enigmatic ability that enables one to turn a vision into a reality.
It permeates values, approach and actions.
Ifemosu Oluwafemi Oluwaseyi (Tom-Perry) is by no means a saint, Yet today, Odogbolu needs transformation now being fashioned through his unique
leadership acumen and promising victory garnered under the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) had portrayed him a Mahatma Gandhi of Odogbolu Youths, although he is been tagged despicable by his adversaries, but they must now in sensibility apprehend the reality that he is neither ridiculous nor dense.
When you do well, it is then you will become acceptable.
One main way to lead is by example, when you turn yourself into an example, then you will turn into a leader to be followed.
A good leader must have strong convictions, not necessarily muscular charisma.
MY VISION
Am IFEMOSU MICHAEL ADEWALE, and I am an aspiring
candidate for the Post of councillorship WARD 2 Odogbolu Local Government, under the UNITY PARTY OF NIGERIA(UPN).
Our Party has impacted lives positively without any regret whatsoever since inception
However, I think that my Council needs new representatives to come in, and reinforce the experience of the old ones by their enthusiasm and potentials.
In my opinion, this new approach can be demonstrated by men of impeccable character with good track record.
I am soliciting for support, vote and prayers from the good people of Odogbolu (ward 2) to run for councillorship .
I am not an accident of history, but part and parcel of the struggle so far, I have various leadership positions previously in my school days which had transpired and made me who I am.
To tell the truth, this "political" and leadership experience only stirred up my thirst for making the world a better place by showing the ways to do it.
For example, our municipality is a wonderful place to live and the good works are today considered enviable.
The watchword for my election campaign is "Welfarism at it's peak", I am coming out for the emergence of young minds in the political terrain,so as to give a meaningful impact to the Legislative council.
I am not going to convince you that I am the very best candidate for this position, I am only in my late 20's; I have quite a modest track record in the leadership scheme of things and participating in the cultural exchange programme for future leaders.
Furthermore, I am ready to work with gusto for your benefit, but I am not ambitious, and do not strive for authority for the sake of authority,If you elect another candidate, I will sincerely wish him all the best in the improvement of our life for the better , and continue my own struggle, but if you empower me with your confidence, I will do everything but the impossible to represent your
interests and achieve our common goals and ideals.
I am sure that our aims coincide - we are all here to obtain undiluted progress that will teach us how to make WARD 2 Odogbolu a better place.
If you empower me with your trust, we will start from solving local problems and making our dream come into fruition.
