#RIPTwitter: Twitter will soon be run by an algorithm and people are not taking it lightly

Twitter could be about to change, and it’s going to turn our world upside down.

Or jumble it up, at the very least.

It’s been suggested that Tweets may no longer be displayed in chronological order, with the social network instead reordering them based on what it reckons you want to read.

Buzzfeed said it has learned the new feature could be brought in as early as next week – but it is not known if Twitter users will have a choice.

It means popular content will be elevated.

So potentially if Kanye West decides to have another Twitter row, he’ll have an even bigger audience.

Sure we’ll all look forward to that.

But not everyone’s jumping for joy about the idea:
