Nigeria Police Recruitment: Beware of Scammers



To many of you asking for the police recruitment form, the form is not out yet.

Those of you signing up on the Internet for the same form or receiving text messages that you have been shortlisted as a police recruit; ignore all the scam and its agents.

Here is an example of the scam texts message you may likely receive, please don't fall mugu;


Police Recruit Scam Text Message being sent to unsuspecting youths in Nigeria:

"I receive a text nw,

"Dear xxxxxxxxxx, you are invited for an interview with ALOHRIS TRUST, no23 Ibadan RD,OPP. FASTLINK Ijebu-Ode on 22 -08-2015,10:00am. come with your CV and a passport. Call REF NUM:-08164394028.HR."

@Nigeria Police Force just released this statement an hour ago to warn the people from falling victims of 419ers!

"The High level of interest in the Nigeria Police Force by youths following Presidential directive to add Ten Thousand officers is appreciated. "

"Modalities for the exercise is being worked out by relevant authorities. Vacancy announcement will follow soon."

"Don’t download or buy any of the “Police Recruitment Forms” currently flying over the internet. They are fake, and not from NPF."

"Post your questions / all you want to know regarding this NPF recruitment exercise using the hashtag ‪#‎PoliceNG10000‬ on Facebook or Twitter."
