#StopTheTrade: Kenya Destroys Multimillion Dollar Worth of Ivory To Discourage Poaching; 'Our National Heritage is not for sale', President declared

These were Elephant trunks seized from poachers or illegal elephant hunters who makes big fortunes from selling the ivories collected from the killed Elephants. The government is leading the campaign against poaching in the Safari or East Africa.

The President has this for those criticising the destruction instead of keeping them safe or selling them to earn revenue for the state; "By destroying ivory, we declare once and for all that our National Heritage is not for sale. For us ivory is worthless, unless it is on our elephants", the President wrote on his Facebook while sharing these photos.
