MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· The ideal candidate will create, develop and manage social media content and projects related to the hub website.
· Write, edit, and proofread new content.
· Track and report on all site metrics
· Adhere to strict deadlines and produce quality content quickly.
· Perform journalistic research and conduct periodic online interviews as needed.
· He / She must be a brilliant writer who is able to produce compelling, concise and error-free copy.
· Write informative, professional material for print or online media sources.
· Use word processing programs and content management systems to curate material.
· He / She must maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties
· Ensure that all documents meet established content standards and work with the developer to assess any technical challenges in displaying the content.
· Handle stakeholder expectations and ensure projects timely completion.
REQUIREMENTS:
· HND/Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mass communication, English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field.
· Demonstrated success in Online Editing.
· Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures..
· Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
· Must be Social Media Savvy.
· Minimum of 2 years working experience.
· Ability to organize, plan and deliver often on tight deadline.
· Passion, Integrity and Energy!
· Good knowledge of Content Management Systems (WordPress).
· Good knowledge of MS Office.
· Age range: 18 – 30 years
