Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, his wife, Bolanle, were among the prominent Nigerians who on Sunday, besieged the Park Lane, Apapa, Lagos residence of the Awolowos’, to pay their last respect to the late matriarch of the Awolowo family, Late Mrs. Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo.
Mama Awolowo’s body will be moved to Ibadan on Monday, where another lying-in-state will take place at Oke Bola, Ibadan.
Also, from November 17-24, there will be another lying-in-state at Ikenne, the ancestral home of the Awolowos.
