Carrie Bradshaw knows good sex (Picture: HBO)
Ah, good sex.
We all want it, but getting it is another matter entirely and, unlike Carrie Bradshaw, most of us are afraid to ask for what we need.
It doesn’t help that there’s a lot of misconceptions about women and getting it on.
Some people mistakenly think women have lower libidos and others believe they don’t orgasm as often as men.
To set the record straight, fertility app Kindara conducted research in the quest to find out what’s the most important thing for women when it comes to good sex.

To set the record straight, fertility app Kindara conducted research in the quest to find out what’s the most important thing for women when it comes to good sex.
Over half the women surveyed said that the most important thing was emotional connection, even coming above foreplay.
While a one night stand can be full of toe-curling fun, women report that their most satisfying sexual experiences involve being connected to someone, not simply achieving orgasm.
What's most important for good sex
Emotional connection 53.2%
Foreplay 23.6%
Communication 10.4%
Frequent sexual activity 7%
Novelty/Variation 4%
Other 1.8%
The survey also found that women are far from having a lower sex drive – 53.2 per cent want to do it more.
And screw the notion that men are having all the orgasms – 72.6 per cent of women said they orgasm at least once during each sexual encounter.
You go ladies!
