Instead, the Prime Minister has gone 'viral' for an altogether more mundane reason: eating Pringles - and on an EasyJet flight, no less.

A teenager who was on the same Portugal-bound economy flight as Mr Cameron could barely contain her excitement when she saw him tucking in to the paprika-flavoured snacks.

She snapped a sneaky selfie and shot a video before uploading the evidence to her Twitter account.
