But Jess says she can’t go because her boyfriend Jake is in ‘one of his moods’.
A Super Bowl advert campaigning against domestic violence is sure to make audiences stop and think.

The powerful 49-second advert is simple in its format but will hammer the message home about the serious dangers and signs of domestic violence.
It shows a text message conversation between two friends during a Super Bowl party – Jess isn’t at the party but her friend is.
Jess asks her friend how the party is going and her friend replies with a photo of her and another friend enjoying themselves. She tries to persuade Jess to go to join their group of friends at the party.
It’s clear Jess’ group of friends haven’t seen her in a while and it’s also clear they know that Jess’ boyfriend is known for his moods.
When the friend asks Jess if she is okay, three dots appear on Jess’ side of the conversation indicating that she is typing something. They soon disappear before reappearing and disappearing again. The text message conversation ends there.
Campaign group No More’s message then appears on the screen, reading: ‘There are many signs of domestic violence and sexual assault. Learn how to help. Text ‘No more’ to 94543.’
This advert, which will air on Sunday, follows No More’s hard-hitting debut Super Bowl ad last year which saw a women make a 911 call, pretending she was ordering a pizza to avoid her partner realising she was calling for help.
