NIGERIA: Ogun State Students Aligns For Peace and Progress

BEING A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED ON THE RESOLUTION MADE BETWEEN: COMRADE OPAOGUN AJIBOLA , COPMRADE IFEMOSU MICHAEL AND COMRADE ABDULGAFFAR OLALEKAN ABDUKAREEM AT OGUN STATE NIGERIA, FEB, 8, 2015, 12:00PM

The dispute which has lingered on between Comrade Opaogun Ajibola, Comrade Ifemosu Micheal and Comrade AbdulGaffar 0. Abdulkareem in respect of the election of the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS National Body) which has led to leadership crisis, is today Monday 8th of February, 2016 amicably resolved.

At the end of the settlement, it was resolved that Comrade Opaogun Ajibola, Comrade Ifemosu Micheal and Comrade Abdulgaffar 0. Abdulkareem have now buried their misunderstanding/difference, in the interest and progress of the Association.

They have resolved that;
Comrade AbudlGaffar 0. Abdulkareem should continue as National President of National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS National Body)
Comrade Opaogun Ajibola and Comrade Ifemosu Micheal will both serve as National Coordinators I & II respectively, of National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS National Body).

That all members who are loyalists to the three (3) Comrades should relate together in the interest of peace and for the progress of the Association and the State.

That the three comrades shall jointly be recognized as stakeholders of the Association.

That the three (3) comrades shall jointly participate in one pre-convention and convention proper to be led by comrade Abdulgaffar O. A. as national president.

That any person found parading himself/herself as a Naoss national Executive, should be handed over to the security Agencies.

Each of the parties coming together must provide equal electoral member (2each) in
the forth coming pre-convention to be submitted on the 28th of Feb, at NUJ hall Abeokuta at 12:00pm to be adopted by the whole house

8. There will be online confirmation of the studentship status of senators and each Aspirants


9. The electoral committee must organize a presidential debate and manifesto before Election

Any senator that the electoral committee cannot access his/her portal for confirmation will not be eligible to vote.


The below are members of the National Association of Ogun state Students (NAOSS) who participate in the resolution and have unanimously agreed to live in peace and unity for interest and progress of the great Association.
