Facebook has launched a new video streaming feature
After testing it on a select group, the new feature is finally being rolled out to all Facebook users.
Facebook is rolling out a new feature that lets people livestream video to their friends.

A select group of users got a sneak-preview of the tool in December, and Facebook says it is now ready to expand the ability to share live video to its users around the world.
The feature works on the social network's mobile app, and is a clear rival to the Periscope app which was developed by Twitter and offers similar functionality.
After broadcasting from your phone, the video of your stream is posted to your timeline.
Live and recorded videos from friends and public figures you follow will also appear in your news feed.

While watching a live video, you can tap the subscribe button to get an alert each time the person goes live.
:: To find the new feature, tap on "what are you up to?" at the top of your screen. Then, tap "write"
:: At the bottom of the status update window - alongside the photo, tag, and emoji icons - is an icon which is the silhouette of a person with two waves surrounding their head
:: This brings up the title page for your video, asking you to add a title and choose which friends can and can't see it

:: After hitting 'go live', you're broadcasting to your friends. A counter in the top-left of the screen shows how many people are viewing your feed
:: When you tap the button to end the broadcast, a video of your stream is posted to your Facebook profile
