David Mark, Daniel Onjeh
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the forthcoming Benue south rerun senatorial election, Daniel Onjeh, has called his opponent, David Mark of the PDP, a liar.
Onjeh had allegedly got wind of a report that David Mark said he single-handedly sponsored Onjeh’s education by paying his school fees when he was an undergraduate in a University in Ghana.
The latter who is a former NANS president responded to the claims by saying:
“David Mark couldn’t have condescended to tell a barefaced lie that he sponsored my study in Ghana. If he did, I make bold to say he’s a LIAR!” he said via twitter.

He also shared a photo of how the crowd with him when the Appeal Court sitting in Makurdi nullified Mark’s election as a Senator.
The court nullified the election on the grounds of substantial breaches of the electoral act. A re-run has been scheduled for February 2016.
Meanwhile, following the verdict of the court, Mark was assured by the PDP that the party was solidly behind him his quest to return back to the Senate.
