The governorship election petition tribunal seating in Isabo Abeokuta has dismissed the petition of the PDP candidate Gboyega Nasir Isiaka against Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun for lack of merit.

The tribunal Chairman, Justice Henry Olusiyi dismissed the petition for lack of enough evidence to prove that the defendant actually violated any section of the electoral law during the election.
