Nigeria: Omobola Johnson Condemns Buhari Over 'Ministers are Noisemakers' Comment

According to former minister of communications technology, Omobola Johnson, President Muhammadu Buhari is not treating the Nigerian civil service in the right manner.



Reacting to a comment the president made in France, Omobola Johnson said Buhari is unfair to ministers who worked hard, but didn’t make much noise about it.



The ex-Comtech minister who seem irked by Buhari’s statement reacted via her Twitter handle @OmobolaJohnson: “President Buhari is being unfair to Ministers who work hard and don’t make noise. The civil service is broken and it needs to be fixed.”

Buhari had in an interview during his three-day official visit to France, stated that it’s the civil servants and technocrats who do the real job of governance in Federal government ministries more than the ministers, who he described as noise makers.
