Game Of Thrones fans have been waiting desperately to find out if Jon Snow is coming back from the dead and it looks like we finally have an answer thanks to Kit Harington himself.
After insisting over and over again that Snow, who was stabbed repeatedly by members of the Night’s Watch in the shocking finale of season 5, was ‘deader than dead’ it now appears he’s changed his tune.
During an interview with Dutch-language Belgian magazine Humo, which was translated into English by a Reddit user, Harington revealed that he would be part of the show for a while longer.

Here’s how the conversation went:
Harington: The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime…
Interviewer: How many more seasons would that be?
Harington: Nice try (laughs). I can’t talk about that. Let’s just say that Game Of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects (laughs).

Kit is currently 28 so if his stint lasts until his ‘thirties’ that means he’ll be on the show for a few more years yet.
At the moment, he only has one upcoming project listed on his IMDB page – a western called Brimstone, which is slated for a 2016 release – so his schedule is looking pretty free.
News of Snow’s return won’t come as a big surprise since Harington has been spotted on the set of Game Of Thrones season 6 in Belfast but this is the first time he’s admitted that his character is sticking around.
Fans have speculated that Melisandre will use her black magic to resurrect him but we won’t know for sure until the show airs next spring.
